Foresight Group Holdings Limited (FGHL) – annual report investor microsite

Creating a more accessible, engaging investor experience through an integrated annual report and microsite

The challenge:

Since its admission to the London Stock Exchange in 2021, Foresight Group has continued to evolve its brand and corporate reporting in partnership with Lyonsbennett. For its 2026 reporting cycle, the FTSE 250 asset manager wanted to create a more streamlined, digital-first investor experience while strengthening the integration of sustainability information.

A central part of the brief was to make the annual report’s key messages easier to find and engage with online. Rather than asking investors to navigate a 230-page PDF, the microsite provides direct access to the highlights, investment case, leadership statements, business review and sustainability content, while still connecting users to the full annual report and structured ESEF output.

Lyonsbennett worked with Foresight to deliver a co-ordinated reporting suite comprising the 2026 annual report, investor microsite and ESEF report, all of which were launched alongside the results announcement. During the final stages of production, the project also coincided with a corporate transaction, requiring carefully managed access to confidential information without affecting the reporting timetable or transaction announcement.

Our approach:

We implemented Foresight’s new illustration approach across selected areas of the report and microsite, and developed a suite of complementary icons to support the evolved creative treatment in line with Foresight’s brand identity, creating a consistent experience across both print and digital channels.

Alongside the creative work, we also provided strategic reporting consultancy, helping Foresight prepare for emerging disclosure requirements. Sustainability information was integrated throughout the report, supported by the introduction of an ISSB index. We also benchmarked early approaches to Provision 29, helping shape Foresight’s thinking on a dedicated voluntary disclosure in the report.

The introduction of a distinct Group CEO role also meant that the report featured statements from both the Executive Chairman and the Group CEO for the first time. We helped Foresight establish a clear purpose for each statement, enabling the development of complementary narratives aligned to each leader’s focus while avoiding duplication.

We designed the microsite around the needs of investors and other stakeholders, distilling the annual report into clearly signposted, digestible sections. Responsive page layouts, case studies and animated data helped communicate complex information more effectively across desktop and mobile, while individual page links made important content easier to find, share and revisit.

The web format also created a stronger foundation for accessibility and discoverability. Properly structured HTML can support screen readers, keyboard navigation, responsive text and clearer heading hierarchies, while indexable content improves search visibility and makes key reporting messages easier for search engines and AI tools to identify. Providing convenient digital access to the report and its ESEF output also supported Foresight’s broader commitment to accessible, lower-print corporate communications.

Across the annual report, bookmarked PDF, microsite and ESEF version, we co-ordinated content, design, development and approvals to ensure every output was aligned and ready for simultaneous publication. Rigorous version control and secure workflows enabled the team to adapt quickly to late-stage developments while handling market-sensitive information under strict confidentiality.

The results:

The project achieved a seamless market launch, with the annual report, investor microsite, bookmarked PDF and ESEF version released simultaneously with Foresight’s results announcement.

The microsite gave investors a faster route to Foresight’s most important messages and a more engaging way to explore performance, strategy and sustainability information, with convenient links to downloadable report extracts, the inline XBRL viewer and the wider investor website.

Despite expanded sustainability and governance disclosure, the report was reduced from 244 to 230 pages. Together, Foresight and Lyonsbennett delivered a clearer annual report and an accessible, connected digital reporting experience that aligned across every format.
